Tetsugaku no michi, Kyoto

Tetsugaku no michi or the Philosopher’s Path is named after a philosopher who used the path for his daily meditation. It was a beautiful pedestrian path along a canal, with lovely cherry trees and temples along the way.

This is a wonderful place to see cherry blossoms, but we were there in summer so my photos are green (you can see some colourful photos, and get more info here).
