Scenic Sunday – A walk on the beach

I invite you to walk with me on this lovely sunny afternoon.

2 kite surfers were out having fun (pictures below); their large kites adding colours to the beautiful blue sky.

 

 

The platform below leads to a pergola out at sea. I took this photo from there, looking back towards the beach. You can see some tall buildings which is in city of Melbourne – e.g. the 2 tall bluish buildings a quarter way from the right. The city is about 10 minutes by car from this beach.

 

 

Popular transport modes to the city includes by tram and by bicycle.

 

The Spirit of Tasmania goes back and forth between Melbourne and Tasmania daily.

 

Beach tennis has just started as we head into warmer weather.

Skywatch – Blue Sky over Melbourne, Australia

Blue sky over Melbourne seen through bicycle parking… It would have been a better picture if there was a cyclist approaching. I was down on my knees and elbows. I waited for him or her to appear, while amused passer-bys looked at me… Then I could wait no more…

IF – My winter glove

I have stored my warm clothes away since we have left winter behind, and it’s now spring in Australia. But I got my lovely warm leather gloves out, so that I am able to complete this illustration.

Hopefully my anti-freezing device fits in with the theme “Frozen”.

I found an old drawing in my sketchbook, maybe this is more appropriate.

Illustration Friday - Germs

I had loads of fun – it was well worth the effort sitting in front of the computer, on a Saturday… :)

I’ve just completed this new T-shirt design titled “Wiggly Brown Germs” based on IF’s theme for the week. Some germs look non-threatening, while others are mildly irritating….
