My friend Dina is running an event to raise funds for Women’s Cancer Research. I am submitting this T-shirt for auction.
She has also asked for some promotional materials, and I have decided to make some sweet little tags in a few colours – a close-up of one of the tags is shown below. Hopefully the T-shirt will be auctioned off at a sizable $$$ for a charitable cause.

In today’s post, I’d like to share with you a painting that was inspired by my recent holiday in Ireland.
I enjoyed painting the expression of the sky, and the wonderful colours of the buildings. A young lady sits on the roof-top, engrossed in her book (perhaps a romantic novel?), with her cat for company. The bottom image is close-up showing the lady and her cat.
I was lucky to be able to capture this on a morning when I woke up early, and was not able to get back to sleep.
I have the privilege to help Kate with her “Breaking the Cycle” project recently, by designing her website, http://www.btcycle.com. Kate is going to be cycling across Africa – yes, pedal power – covering over 20,000 km.

This is my first succulent topiary! I am really happy with the result and hopefully the plants will stay healthy for many years.
The succulent plants are growing in moss, and this can be hung on the wall. I think it’s a pretty good idea to have plants in a frame on the balcony wall – a fantastic space saving idea :).
