I arrived in Kuala Lumpur a couple of days ago. Shopping complexes are a big attraction here; not only is the shopping fantastic, but these large buildings offer a nice break from the warm and humid conditions outside.

Daylesford
Daylesford is about 90 minutes drive from Melbourne. We were there last weekend for a bit of R&R away from the city. This is a beautiful time of the year to go there to see the beautiful colours of autumn.

We were very lucky with the weather and took a nice walk around a lake
We didn’t have scones, but I couldn’t resist capturing this reflection.

Taking a break
I have got to get rid of the flu that is making my life miserable. I have short energy spans, a constant change in body temperature, and an annoying headache….. yes, I am feeling pretty sorry for myself.
It’s been about a week. I miss my daily exercise, and going for walks or on bicycle rides with my camera.
Today is my wedding anniversary… I’ll be in bed if anyone’s looking for me.
I wish you all Good Health.

Mirror making my vision blur
This is a crazy reflection of metal grill, trees and sky on a window, which I have turned 90 degrees clockwise. Apart from the grill, there are 2 images – one a reflection, while the other is a shadow… (I think!)

Furry friends
Mid-week cheer (#3); watercolour and pen; 2010 I have a soft spot for teddy bears. We have a number around the house, and they certainly help when I need to cosy night in :).

Acro Yoga
A slightly different My World post today.
My husband and I went to an introductory session of Acro Yoga last week, and had loads of fun…
Acro Yoga combines the practices of yoga, Thai Massage and acrobatics.
These are 2 of the poses we got into. Most of the poses involved 2 or more people.
Trust is a key element in Acro Yoga. Anyway if I fell (I didn’t!), the floor was not that far below.
Please visit My World to see what others are up to….

The Travellers under a blue sky
The series of sculptures lining Sandridge Bridge is called The Travellers. The work is about the waves of immigrants who came to Melbourne.
Sandridge Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Yarra River. It’s lovely to walk along here when the shadows of the giant sculptures makes patterns on the ground (I have posted a black and white photo here).
You will be able to see glass pieces in the first picture, with names of countries. When I was there, the glass with Macedonia inscribed was broken, and I thought that it made a rather interesting picture.
Here is another photo which shows the sculptures, but Sandridge Bridge (not shown) is actually behind the bridge that you see in this photo.
Happy Easter, and have a wonderful weekend.
