My husband and I have just returned from holiday and these photos were taken during the past week.
Lorne is a seaside town situated along the famous Great Ocean Road.
It was a morning when the mist was low (2nd photo) and earlier on, we could barely see the mountains.
This lovely colourful building is a hotel
Sheoak Falls in the Great Otway National Park is a good 7 km hike, from outside of Lorne – really good to get some exercise during the holidays!
Here is a map link showing where Lorne is : Click Here
Thank you for visiting. Have a lovely week.

These shots when my husband and I were holidaying at the Whitsundays, Australia in 2008.
We had a boat take us to our private beach on a different island every afternoon…
We were lucky to spot 2 humpback whales. We think they were dancing for us… (but it all happened too quickly for the amateur photographer to act)
This is Edwina, a banana loving wallaby. She is the resident pet at the hotel at Paradise Bay.
This photo was taken from a helicopter which took us to our hotel from Hamilton Island.
I have uploaded more photos in an earlier post: Click here to view.
Have a good week ahead.

My husband and I took a balloon ride over the city in 2007. It was a memorable experience.
The ride started at about 5:30 am. 10 passengers got into a balloon. A few balloons were launched at the same time. It was pretty looking a the other balloons against the backdrop of orange sunrise. The ride lasted about 50 minutes.

I hope you enjoyed the photos. Have a nice weekend.

This is an earlier drawing, of the same but younger seedlings: 2-day old seedlings no longer afraid of the birds above…
